What is PLenterprise?

Based on Lotus IBM QuickPlace Quickr with ProjectLounge enhancements, PLenterprise enables teams to work together more efficiently. Geographically dispersed teams are well supported with an inbuilt understanding of time zones. Security is a very strong feature of PLenterprise. With the optional Project Management functionality, project managers can share information among their team, including client participants as appropriate. Similarly, Document Management hosting functionality can be enabled so that documentation of any nature can be authored, edited and proofed in a secure environment, prior to approval and release. Plus Contact Management capabilities are available if required.

Most importantly, mobile team members do not need reliable Internet connections to continue working as PLenterprise provides off-line functionality and automatic synchronisation when on-line.

Why use PLenterprise?

Any organization that would like to get off the email treadmill and enable their teams to work efficiently and effectively with access via their own corporate URL should select PLenterprise where they can have all the features above, with single-sign-on facilities that simplify access to multiple WorkPlaces. Typically, organisations using PLenterprise will have 20 or more personnel, contractors, consultants and/or clients working on several projects at any one time.

Organizations can have their PLenterprise WorkPlaces migrated to dedicated server hosting when increased requirements make such a move appropriate.
